Sketch

My graduation project for CMD was about brand identities and how they are guarded. I carried out the research together with visual communication agency Uit de Kunst! and the Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard water authority.

In an organisation like that many people work with the same identity. With this project I completed my studies at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.

For the User Interface and User Experience Design minor our team was challenged by design studio Hike One. The assignment was to translate an existing mobile app to Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

We chose to port the Uber Driver app to CarPlay. Within the Adapt team I was the visual designer.

Skateland Rotterdam is the city’s skatepark. The site ran on an old system and did not carry the identity of the organisation. I was asked to design and build a new one.

The design I made in Sketch and then developed in WordPress. Later I was asked to set up the e-commerce side in WooCommerce. Of the sites I built entirely myself this is one of the largest.

An internship at Buro BRAND did not stop at drawing. Next to the illustrations I made the imagery for an animation and designed a website in Sketch.

I also gave drawing workshops at ING and Rijkswaterstaat. There I stood in front of a room of people who were going to draw themselves.

The assignment was to come up with a unique rental system for bikes. After some research I chose to do that for cargo bikes.

My concept, the shopping bike, can be rented at a supermarket. For the concept I also designed a terminal with an interface that lets users unlock and use the bike.

LantarenVenster is a theatre for film and jazz music in Rotterdam. For that theatre I designed an application in Sketch.

The application makes it possible to select a specific seat for the visit. That works the same way as booking a flight.
