The assignment was to come up with a unique rental system for bikes. After some research I chose to do that for cargo bikes.
My concept, the shopping bike, can be rented at a supermarket. For the concept I also designed a terminal with an interface that lets users unlock and use the bike.
For an assignment I had to redraw an existing interface and then make it work. Rebuilding something that already exists shows where someone else’s choices sit.
The ING interface I rebuilt in Sketch. With Marvel I then made it clickable, so the prototype could be walked through like an app.
LantarenVenster is a theatre for film and jazz music in Rotterdam. For that theatre I designed an application in Sketch.
The application makes it possible to select a specific seat for the visit. That works the same way as booking a flight.
The assignment was to design a platform for a bike rental system in the Netherlands. I was a little stubborn about it and went for renting out scooters.
The platform for that scooter rental I then designed. I came up with this concept before renting out electric scooters became so popular worldwide.
