The burgers and wraps at Burgers & Frites are wrapped in paper to keep everything together.
The pattern on it I designed with the illustrations from the identity. That puts it in line with the rest of the design work I made for this place.
An internship at Buro BRAND did not stop at drawing. Next to the illustrations I made the imagery for an animation and designed a website in Sketch.
I also gave drawing workshops at ING and Rijkswaterstaat. There I stood in front of a room of people who were going to draw themselves.
Buro BRAND is a strategic communication agency in The Hague that makes change understandable. During my internship there I mostly worked with a pen tablet in Illustrator.
My drawing skills went into helping the clients of the studio. Through visual communication I was able to turn complicated questions into understandable illustrations.
The client asked me to design window stickers for the location in Rotterdam South. The place had to become recognisable from a distance.
The illustrations I drew digitally with a pen tablet and then had printed at large format. The same drawings come back on the wrapping paper and the business card.
